Pure Water Cleaning

What is it?

The Water Fed Pole system that we use uses what is known as "Reverse Osmosis", a water purification system that removes 95-99% of all the contaminants from basic tap water. Reverse Osmosis was originally designed to make sea water drinkable for the navy and the membrane used to filter the water in the process has a pore size that is much smaller than bacteria virus. When functioning properly it will remove all micro organisms from tap water and produce sterile water

What is Reverse Osmosis?

Reverse Osmosis is the reversal of the natural flow of osmosis. In a water purification system, the goal is to separate the pure water from the contaminants. When the natural osmotic flow is reversed, water from the contaminated solution is forced through the membrane in the opposite direction by application of pressure-thus the term Reverse Osmosis. Through this process, we are able to produce pure water by screening out contaminants. Pure water is produced in the following way

Tap water first flows through a 5 micron polypropylene sediment filter, to remove dirt, rust and other sediment. The water then flows into a granular activated carbon cartridge filter which takes out 98% of the chlorine and organic chemicals.

The next process is the reverse osmosis membrane which separates 95-99% of the dissolved contaminants from the water molecules. The contaminants are then washed down the drain. The final stage of the RO series process is a De Ionisation vessel. This is the stage that all remaining contaminants are removed, leaving 100% pure water.

Better Cleaning Results

Dirt particles are agitated using a purpose made, soft bristled brush, and rinsed away using extremely pure water. You may be suprised to know that no chemicals or detergents are required. You should also expect to see the windows cleaned using this method left wet. Don't worry, this is normal. The windows will dry naturally, and once dry you will be no doubt impressed with the results. No detergents and chemicals are used either - just pure water. Even the window frame will be cleaned each time which is an added bonus.

When using this method of window cleaning you will likely notice that the windows seem to stay clean for longer. This is because there is no sticky soap residue left on the window. Usually rainfall would mix with this soap residue and form little spots on the windows. After a little while using this method, all traces of the soap residue will be rinsed away. The rain will have no soap residue to mix with and therefore they will appear to remain cleaner for longer.

Advantages
We supply the pure water from our vans so we do not add to your water bills!

- Increased Privacy
Something many householders appreciate is that by using water fed poles instead of ladders, there is no more need to worry about the window cleaner suddenly appearing at the bedroom window. No more running around tidying up or shutting the curtains!

- Improved Access to Hard to Reach Areas
We can now reach with ease previously inaccessible aspects of your property such as third floor windows, conservatory roofs, sloping roofs, and other windows that previously had to be left for safety reasons.

- Added Services
It is now possible for us to clean many more external features of your property. Frames, UPVC, panelling and cladding, canopies, fascias, garage doors etc. Please request further information if these services are of interest to you.

- Reduced Disturbance
Although we do our best to keep disturbance to a minimum, ladder use causes some inevitable disturbance. Eg. Rattling of the metal, dents in your lawn etc. These problems are avoided with the use of water fed poles.
